Homework Policy
Frequency:
Homework will be assigned 2–3 times per week to reinforce skills learned in class. Most assignments will focus on reading comprehension, writing practice, or vocabulary development, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in meaningful ways.
Grading:
Homework will count for 15% of the final grade. It will be graded based on completion, effort, and accuracy of content, rather than perfection. The goal is to encourage consistent practice and responsibility, not to penalize mistakes made during learning.
Late Policy:
Assignments turned in one day late will receive a 10% deduction, and those turned in two days late will receive a 20% deduction. Homework submitted more than two days late will receive a zero, unless the student makes prior arrangements due to valid reasons such as illness or emergencies.
